Kid Sketching!

In keeping with some of my previous posts of old drawings from life, here are a bunch of sketches of children I did at a school a few years back. Kids are particularly fun to draw because they are always expressive but you have to draw fast if you are going to get any drawing done- it's pretty tricky to get a complete child down on paper, they're constantly moving.

Been working non stop for the last couple of weeks on Wasteland pages- looking forward to posting up some work for folks to see, but it's still pretty early. More drawings from books I've been reading coming soon...

Fighting The Villain- Last Goodbye Cover Art

I recently finished up some cover art for the local east bay group FIGHTING THE VILLAIN and thought I'd post it up to check out. Their EP Last Goodbye is dropping pretty quick here and they were kind enough to let me draw up their cover. It was a lot of fun to do and you guys should check out their music, good stuff.

It was the first time I've drawn with color for a while but it reminded me how much I like it- hope you guys do too...

And in comes the new year...

I'm back from a bit of traveling and getting ready to sit down at the ol' drawing table with a cup of coffee and begin the New Year the right way. Here is a quick warm up I did to shake the rust off and get rolling...
